Stuff

Yep, once again some silly little cold took a turn for the worse and kicked my butt!  That is twice within about a month!  It is enough to almost make me wish that I had got one of those flu shots, even though I don't know if I had the flu either time.  Once again, I seem to be getting better and hopefully will be back to normal me soon.  Surely there is nothing else I can get this year.  I am almost starting to think it is a conspiracy to keep me from working on the conference because so far this week I have been unable to carry out any of my plans.  :-(

I stopped at the grocery for some cough med yesterday and an old man out in front asked for money.  I told him that I had no cash and he then said "give it to me or I will kick your ass!"  He then laughed like it was a big joke.  I told him "f#ck off, old man, you are messing with the wrong f#cking woman!"  Now, I do not take kindly to such threatening jokes in the best of moods, but yesterday, he was really lucky that I didn't mace him and kick the crap out of him, just for fun.  I think he realized that since he scurried off pretty quickly.

Hopefully back to the kinder, gentler Lesley soon. :-)

Good on you girl.
You of all people know that we're entering into a period of ultra high strangeness, a time that'll test our abilities to keep things together enough to function as well as retain our humanity. A lot of people are starting to lose it; they won't be able to take it and they'll be walking trouble. What we have to do is face this fact squarely and rise to the occasion and do the confrontation thing even though we might not want to. We're going to have to do things we really won't want to do.

Gotta tell you I haven't had a cold or flu in 15 years. I credit it to eating raw garlic every single day during that time. Consistency builds an impregnanable wall and your breath will keep you a slight bit more isolated from people with communicable nasties :)

There are always weird people at the grocery nearest me. The neighborhood isn't so bad, I think it is because it is the last bus stop at the east edge of town (I live outside town), but I am not entirely sure that is why. Anyhow, I am really getting fed up with it. Most times I waste gas driving somewhere further because I don't want to deal with it.

I never get this sick. I might get a slight cold in the winter, but not two horrible colds or flu within a month! I am kind of blaming chemtrails right now.
