Since most of the US is experiencing the same thing, I am sure a good many of you know exactly what I am talking about when I say it is f*cking COLD! It is 4 f (-15 c) here right now and that is without the wind chill and the wind gusting at least 40 mph. I think it is more like - 20. The high today will be be a whooping 12 f. I probably don't need to even mention the snow, it is just like icing on the frozen cake. :-D

Just wait until tonight. It's supposed to be even colder. We've got at least six inches of snow for the last day and I'm already sick of it.
I think we probably had almost a foot of snow, but there was so much wind that it blew all over and is hard to tell.
When I woke up a little while ago the sun was shining and I thought maybe it wouldn't be as bad as predicted, but it is, 9 degrees.
Lesley, I feel for you! I can't imagine being in all that cold and snow. And here I am whining how cold it is in Eugene; it was 43. Too cold for me! Stay safe and stay warm Lesley.

I haven't left the house since Monday, but today when it is suppose to heat all the way up to 25, I am going to give it a try.
The one good thing I can say about the cold is that I sleep so well! Britton gets cold easier than I do and always keeps the bedroom too warm for my taste. Given my choice, most of the winter I wouldn't even turn on the heat up there. Extreme cold like this evens things out. :-)
