Dante used to come into the photo developing store I worked in during the 80's. He usually had a roll of film that showed landing sites he had visited from around the country as well as photo's of his own sitings.
He always came in wearing his space suit, a replica of the ones he said his alien friends wore when they came to see him. Hw was so proud of the design for his triangle hat . We always had such wonderful conversations! We used to stop each other when we were out and about and one happened to see the other, just to update our news. I married and moved away and a few years later on a visit home we bumped into each other in a local grocery market...it was like I had never left! We picked up right where we had left off .
I loved that this man, who was so loved and was such a caring man in return, was so openly accepted by the locals. He will be missed.
