Changes
Honestly, I have become quite tired of updating this blog daily. What started out with pure intentions of just seeing what was around on the "internets" and sharing on a daily basis has become somewhat of a chore over these many years. I think this has become especially true over the past few years where I can share something on facebook (or twitter) and receive instant feedback, but here I rarely get any. Oh, I don't want to whine, but I am becoming very tired of it and so because of that I have been trying to think of things that might make me feel less tired. So I am very seriously thinking of only updating on Mon, Wed and Friday or rather than doing the nightly updates, simply instantly posting what I come across that may be of interest. I think the latter may be what I go with, since I will still want to check through the news daily.

Hi
Can imagine it's turned into some kind of a chore. I've been visiting your site for a few years on a daily basis.Fixed days for posting would probably be the best.
I'm one of those who don't do facebook.
I certainly understand, but would hate to see it go away completely.
Wow! The end of an era! You're breaking up with me aren't you! what can I do? I'll change! Give me another chance! [g].
I have been visiting your site daily for many years and consider it the best place to stay updated on these important matters. I understand how tedious this can and apparently has become. I suspect that there are many more people like myself who greatly appreciate your efforts, but who haven't taken the time to let you know how they feel. You do a great job and have been extremely reliable. I sincerely hope you continue your blog in whatever fashion makes you the happiest. You are needed!
Lesley, believe me I completely understand, going through a similar state myself. I will miss the daily updates though! Your blog is the first one I check every morning and I look forward to seeing what stories you've picked up on to share.
I will never use Twitter (ugh) and the only reason I Facebook is to stay in touch with distant family (the only people I will ever follow) so I read only your blog. I'll miss reading it, but life moves on and so will I.
Everything in the universe has a shelf life and maybe the blog has reached its expiration date. You need to do what brings you fulfillment and works for your life.
However you choose to move forward, here's wishing you success.
heh. Hey I'm from Poland and I appreciate what you do anyway C: I just never bother to post, preferring to read than write. You have my support, always :D
Thank you all very much! Don't worry I will still be updating, just in a different way and I may have to try a couple to find which is easier. I am going to start with instant posting (maybe Monday) and see how that works. Quite possibly in winter when things are more boring and I have less to do I will go back to the way I do it now.
Uh-oh... that almost translates to we can still be friends!
You _are_ breaking up with me! [g].
@ Alfred - Really it is me, not you!
OMG--and there it was folks... the ultimate dismissal, the retort de grace', the final turn of the knife our adored double Xers wield so well... nothing left to do but endure the endless pit of that final, inexorable, and unrecoverable dismissal... where _did_ I leave that hemlock...
Luckily it is Friday so you can have a beer instead of hemlock!
[bwang!] ...Cryin' in my beeeeeeeeeer...
So, I've got tears in my ears
From liein' on back...
'n cryin' my eyes out,
Over youuuuuuuuuuuu! [bwang!]
Whoa, a little bad-news, good-news going here. Lesley, I really appreciate what you do here. Thanks so much for all your efforts. You provide a great service for internet dabblers like myself. Honestly I spend too much time online as it is. So all of your convenient short-cuts are a real time saver for folks like me.
Yeah, not too many of those I imagine. Thank your lucky stars....
Poor Alfred. I never pegged him as the sensitive weepy type. Beers all around, I say!!
