Mark Briscoe new executive director

I hope Mark Briscoe improves the festival.  There is no sense in me driving 4 hours from Burque to see the same speakers every year.

It wouldn't hurt, either, if speakers would update their material now and again. Then it might not be so bad to listen to them repeatedly, but, as it currently stands, I would agree that in the majority of cases, once you have seen them make a presentation, you might as well not bother to see another.

I do understand there are certain Roswell researchers they like to have every year, like Stanton. However, at this point most people know the Roswell story and it would be a lot more fun to have a variety of speakers and topics. The best festival was when the city held it. They had the regular speakers at the museum and the city had a bunch of other speakers that don't normally get invited to speak at the museum.
