Maybe there is a reason it is "unseen"
Normally I try to stay away from such childish posts, but since this person told me never to email them again - I have no choice. She is the one who told me to never email her again, so if this post shows up (once google logs it) every time someone searches "Unseen Gallery" it is not my fault. I did try to be civil to someone who was NOT. Still, I do realize it is very childish of me.
Organizing a UFO/Paranormal conference is not that easy. You have to sell tickets and vendor space. Although ticket sales are pretty good, we are lacking in the vendor area right now and so I told Nancy I would email vendors from a recent "new agey" conference and see if any of them were interested. This is only our 2nd conference, so hopefully we are better than the first, but we aren't experts.
So anyhow, I emailed the people that vended at that conference who had PUBLIC email addresses, offering a special deal. Within the first 10 minutes I get a very nasty email from Darla at "Unseen Gallery."
I am perplexed. Not only have I never emailed this person or any vendor before, I don't even know who she is! So I email back and even apologize:
And so, she emails again:
Well, and since she didn't want me to email her again, my only way of responding to her total rudeness is publicly.
This is what I wrote on facebook:
Sorry, but I am unwilling to let people get away with such crap!
Of course, #1 if you do not want people to contact you - don't have your email on your website. Not very hard to figure out that it could cause a lot of unwanted email. Duh! Well, and I wonder if she would like all my unsolicited email? I probably have more people visit this site in one day than she does in an entire year and still I have never sent anyone I don't know that has contacted me a rude email like that. And believe me, people send me all kinds of crazy stuff. Really, if her website inbox is so full that she can't possibly stand one extra email, she should be making a fortune!
I could share what people on facebook said about her, her artwork and why she is so angry, but I won't. You can form your own conclusions.
However, I will say that I think we are lucky to not have someone so negative and angry vending at the conference. Probably she should spend that time attending anger management courses instead.
Although, I know very few people will probably click on her link - I suppose I am giving Darla's website a boost right now by even linking to it. She is so sad and angry - maybe that will help to cheer her up. :-D

Local friends - If you ever come across someone named Darla selling artwork under the name "Unseen Gallery" at a conference or somewhere - RUN! I have never had someone be so entirely rude to me, especially since I don't even know her and did nothing to her.
Sorry, but I am unwilling to let people get away with such crap!
