Oddities and Entities

Sunday is a incredibly slow news day. Many sites don't update at all. Things don't quit happening, but still the news is mostly a rerun from Friday and the few things added on Saturday. Anyhow, Sundays are always hard to find good news stories.

Luckily Cryptomundo is always updating. I was shocked to find out that Biscardi still has the nerve to charge people to view his bigfoot expeditions. As I commented there, I suppose people still willing to give him money deserve what they get. I am wondering though, does anyone know someone who was paid back after Noory ordered him to refund money to people who paid thinking he had a captured bigfoot? We all know that he said he would pay them back, but did he? I have my doubts.

A bit of Bowie inspiration today which caused me to changed the title of my ramblings from odds and ends to oddities and entities. Yes, thinking of Space Oddity. The pic is from the film "The man who fell to earth." A masterpiece in my opinion, though being a huge Bowie fan I am probably a bit prejudice. I was actually looking for a pic from the film that was taken at the cement plant which is just up the road from me, but I couldn't find one. May have to screen cap that at some point. While filming TMWFTE, Bowie had a UFO sighting right here in NM. All things considered I suppose there is nothing odd about that.

I am much enjoying Stanton Friedmans visit with Art Bell right now. Stanton really hates SETI, even more than I and that is saying a lot!

This show rocked. Stanton was great (although he needs a few new adejectives and nouns [he must have said "nasty, noisy negativists" 10 times!]). Ufology will be much worse off someday when Stanton leaves the scene... He brings so much credibility by being a former nuclear physicist, and hishigh level of professionalism is comendable. He's very convincing. I also like his no-holds, anti-SETI stance.

Anyway, just stumbled on your site and it's great. I've got it marked as a favorite now.

I'm asked that all the time... If I'm related to the Poole's in KY. To the best of my knowledge, I'm not. Most of us seem to be in Texas, Illinois, or California, although I'm not into geneology at all.

Hope you and your family have a great turkey day weekend!

There seem to be a lot of Pooles from KY so I am sure you do get asked that a lot.

Hope you and yours also have a wonderful Thankgiving holiday!
