Ricky and I had a very good time today. It didn't start out great because about 20 minutes after his mom left he realized she was gone. He hasn't been without mom since he was about 4 months old and he was not happy about it. I couldn't get him to quit crying, he didn't even want cookies. Then I decided to take him outside, he loved that and we stayed out there for a couple hours until he got sleepy and took a nap. He sure can crawl fast so I had to keep a good eye on him. He is different than his sister Mina at the same age. Mina never cared if mom left, but she always wanted to either be in my lap or have me play with her. Rick is happy in his walker and plays pretty good by himself. He doesn't talk as much as Mina did, she starting talking really early, but he makes some pretty cool sound effects when he is playing. Even though I am exhausted, as expected, it was a fun day!
