I had a lovely time visiting with Linda Moulton Howe last night. I can't tell you what we spoke about because they were private conversations, but I will say that Linda is working on some very interesting things that I am sure you will eventually hear about.
I left around 11:30, which was cool because I got to hear some of Stanton on c2c on the way home. Anyhow I am driving home when I look at my lighted dashboard and see the largest spider, short of a tarantula, that I have even seen. It was at least 3 inches across, it's body way over an inch long. I hate spiders! I am afraid of spiders! I cannot even get to it to smash it because there isn't enough room to get a good aim because it is behind the steering wheel. I have to pull over and stop. I try smashing it with the bottom of my water bottle, but fail. Finally, I get it to crawl into a empty paper cup and I throw the cup and it out. Truly, I do not know what I would have done if I would have lost sight of it because I don't think I could have driven home not knowing where it was.
After I get rid of the spider I continue my drive home. I am driving to my house on old route 66, which is one lane each direction for a mile or so. Some idiot coming the other way crosses the line and almost swerves right into me. Probably just some drunk, but two scary things in one short drive made me really happy to get home.
