I was going to write yesterday about my day on Wednesday, but I was just too tired after it was over. All day Wednesday, Britton (my SO) kept having really bad stomach cramps. How many times did I tell him he should let me take him to the doctor? I lost count. Finally about 8 pm he can't stand it anymore and lets me take him to the ER. He had appendicitis it turned out and needed surgery right away. They had to transfer him to another hospital and he had surgery around midnight. All went well, but he has to stay in the hospital at least until Saturday.
So now I have my sister in one hospital and him in another. I really wish they were in the same one because not only would it be easier for me to visit, but they could visit with each other and it wouldn't be so boring. I am really tired of hospitals, but my sister will be stuck there for about 2 more weeks so I still have plenty of hospital visiting to do.

Actually there is a problem with infection now. Will write more about this later when I hopefully know more.
Lesley, so sorry to hear about his health; not fun at all. My mother had appendicitis when we were kids. I also know what it's like trying to get your mate in to see a damn doctor! Thank god he finally agreed and went.
Hospitals, dealing with the staff, etc. -- it is so stressful. I can empathize.
I also hope your sister will be all right. My prayers are with all of you.
Michael - Yeah, I already expect we will be over charged on everything. Hopefully the insurance will pay most of it.
R - I am probably not much better about going to the doctor, so I guess I can't be too angry with him about that.
