Numb in the sun

I survivied yet another dental cleaning yesterday! I don't know why, but I was more nervous than normal when I got there and I had to force myself to go in. They have to give me a shot to clean my bottom front teeth because they are really sensitive, for some reason the shot seemed to hurt more than normal today and as always it didn't keep the pain completely away. The worse part though, is that my bottom lip and mouth stay numb for like 4 hours. I have to keep checking to make sure I am not drooling all over myself. After I stopped by the hospital to see my sister and I couldn't even talk very well so I didn't stay as long as I might have otherwise. I don't know what to say about my sister, she seemed to be doing better than last time I saw her, but yet not really great either. Of course, what do I expect since she has done months of chemo for lung cancer and is now doing radiation for a brain tumor? I wouldn't say I am depressed about it, I won't let myself be because I try to stay positive, but I am preoccupied and nervous much of the time.
Other than that, all is well. The sun has returned and yesterday was our first day without rain in quite a while.

Watch out for that drooling, lol.

And, yes, try and stay positive. Your family has a lot of us pulling for them and we all hope things turn out well.

Keep yer chin up !

No drooling today, so those of you who didn't get samples will just have to wait for the next cleaning.
