This and That

I lost one of my big pond fish last night to another raccoon. Pooka chased away the one that we had last winter, but this is a new one, much smaller than the other was. As always when Pooka was biting it and chasing it I was a little worried about her safety. She is 80lbs and should be able to better a raccoon, but I once heard a tale of a raccoon slitting a dog's throat with it's claws. Thankfully, Loren Coleman was around to ease my mind. He said the biggest danger would be rabies, Pooka has her shots and we don't touch anything the raccoon has been eating so all should be well. Hopefully that raccoon has learned his lesson and won't be back.
Found out today that now my sister's liver is failing. I don't know what to say about that. Apparently she had enough strength to try and escape the hospital several times today. That made me laugh! They can say she didn't know what she was doing, but I prefer to think that some part of her knew exactly.
Dreamland sounds like it will be worth a good listen on Saturday. Nazi ufos with Whitley, Jim Marrs, Peter Levenda and Joseph Farrell - Wow!
