Coasties, Zorgys and Spice

As I said at theusofe forums, I seem to have been out of sync with the majority of votes in this years coasties. That is cool with me, I would probably be worried if my picks did line up with the majority and I did have a couple picks that were winners so I wasn't totally off. Congratulations to all the Coastie Winners! There was a lot of good stuff to pick from so winners should be really proud.

A big congratulations to the Zorgy winners too! Especially my friends at BOA, BOT and my friend Alfred Lehmberg (all hail the top troublemaker!). Also, though she sadly did not win, my friend Regan Lee was nominated and deserves kudos for that! Hey, I wasn't nominated so obviously it is an honor not given to just anyone. You guys are all winners with me and I am proud and honored to call you friends.

Obviously, having the flu for a week and also being snowed in has given me way too much time to think. Sunday night I was pondering the comparisons of ayuhuasca and the spice in the Dune series. Yeah, that is when I thought to myself that I had way too much time on my hands and needed to get out. However, it was still far too much work to dig out yesterday so I was stuck here yet again and still comparing the two and creating a c2c, Dune style, fictional story in my head. I may have to eventually write it down.

One more thing, if anyone has been wondering why I haven't been updating my website it is because the computer that I keep my web software on isn't working very good and I am using my laptop. I had planned to take it in for repair last week, but was unable to do that with the snow and everything.
