I've travelled the road many times to get from Oregon to the SW, stopped at the inn many times for a beer or bite to eat. Those roads in NV are hardly travelled at all. Consequently NV gravel pits are like hotel rooms for free and no one cares. You even get some privacy if the gravel pile is big enough. I've seen some jaw dropping sunrises from gravel pits...
