This and That: Feeling Crappy, Facebook, Culture of Contact

I am feeling "under the weather." That is about the only way I can put it, nothing hurts, I am not coughing or sneezing. I just feel kind of crappy and have for the past day. I may have a touch of fever, but I am not sure.

Another call out for those of you on Facebook, friend me! I am bored over there, it is nothing like myspace (or even paranormal meet) where I have tons of "friends." Hardly anyone even stops by to comment, except for Stone, he is awesome! It is hard to meet new people on facebook. You can't even decide whether to ask someone to be friends because you can't see anyone's profile, it is so weird. Although facebook has good things, I still prefer myspace.

I wanted to mention that Alfred Lehmberg is on Culure of Contact as a guest with Frank Feschino talking about the Flatwoods Monster. I haven't listened yet, some day I may figure out how to download Jeremy Vaeni's strange set up there, but right now I have to listen online and I haven't had time since it was just posted yesterday. Anyhow it should be a good show.

Get better soon! And re Facebook - after a month or so of feverish activity as STG, I was, thanks deity, thrown out for using a nickname. Since then I have absolutely no desire to be back. Cursed habit, really, as if blogging weren't enough.

For my part, I alternate between wanting to carry Jeremy Vaeni on a three cornered velvet cushion worthy of teacher, leader, or guiding light... and whacking him with a sturdy board.

If you would like, you could carry him and I could whack him with a board. :-)

Snoopy - I have heard facebook is that way. Wouldn't be much sense in me using a nickname, but I can understand why people don't want their real name on the internet. I avoided that for years, but now that it is in ufo mag every month, it doesn't really matter.

And you can play more whack-a-mole with me next Tuesday at www.book-of-thoth.com. It's the last podcast of the year and my veeeeeery special guest (not the short bus kind, mind you) is one Alfred Lehmberg. Solo. And I think it's got some of the funniest repartee in any of my podcasts.

But wait 'til I get my hands on Regan Lee. I have a sneaky suspicion THAT will be one for the ages.... Ah, 2007. hardly knew ye.
