That is the cover of the Alibi from last year for fall crawl. Aside from the creatures there are also those eyeball/ufo things in the sky. I also found a cute little video that goes with it. They are posted over at LOE and have no esoteric relevance other than yeti, nessie and mothman are all rapping together about fall crawl.It looks as though Nike may never again manufacture black and purple shoes because they are too much like the ones that Heaven's Gate members wore. Seems a bit silly to me, who even would remember that at this point unless Nike pointed it out? When I thought about it I did remember they had been black, but had totally forgot the purple.
Speaking of cults -- CNN is having some sort of Jonestown special soon. Jonestown is something I remember every year because it happened on my birthday and so every year on my birthday there are always reminders of Jonestown.
Trying to decide if I want to go to sleep, probably not just yet.

I believe you may be thinking of the Jonestown special on MSNBC tonight. It's two hours and airs @ 9 PM (ET & PT)
I think they are both having Jonestown specials. I missed the one tonight, but I am sure MSNBC will rerun it many times.
