Stephen Colbert Bashes UFO Expert Leslie Kean...

Bashes?  Really?  Do these people that keep complaining think that Leslie Kean went on 60 Minutes?  She went on the Colbert Report and he treated her no differently than any of his guests.  Have they never watched the show?

Get over it already!

Well, not strictly "bashes", just applies his usual charm, I agree. But he laid it on rather too thick.

@Snoopy - Yes, a bit thick maybe. However, I am a little disappointed that people are taking it all so seriously. If you go on the Colbert Report you just have to expect that you might be made fun of.

@karthikeyan - I am not a Sir, but I did add your link.

I agree and think this is one of the issues that keep cropping up in that sometimes this is taken way too seriously and at times, folks get way too serious about their role in this or that aspect of Ufology, as it is simply a part of a life experience, not all of it. That's why I appreciate your sharing other interests. I garden, do historic preservation and collect antique toys. Some folks need to lighten up.

Steven Colbert shouldn't be expected to break character for an interview, and he didn't. But there was no ridicule and Leslie came off fine.

To be "bashed" by Colbert is priceless PR. People who may not have been aware of Kean's book are probably now Kindling it thanks to his show. If I were running for office or had a book, product, or movie to promote, I would be begging his people to let him make fun of me on air.
