After deleting a few of my newer widgets and going through my template looking for anything that could be causing the problem with my BTD blog, I had found nothing. I figured it wasn't me, but after doing an internet search I found someone who had the exact same problem and blogger had to fix it because it was their fault. There also seems to be a lot of other bloggers at the help board having the same problem. You should have no problems with Beyond the Dial if you are using a Mac or Firefox. If you only use IE you should keep away from the blog site until blogger fixes it and instead I suggest using the feedburner feed to read new posts. I am hoping blogger will fix it soon. I already emailed them yesterday and plan to do it again in a couple minutes.
A big thanks to Adam Gorightly for letting me know about the problem! I use Firefox and wouldn't have known unless someone took the time to email me.
That problem took up a lot of my extra time yesterday. I am always sure I can fix things like that myself, but obviously not. At least all my other blogs including this one seem fine. It also reminded me of all the reasons I hate IE and I don't mean just because it is the only browser having a problem with BTD. I haven't used it in a long while and when I opened it to check BTD I was reminded how many of the buttons (like favorites) are just not where I feel they should be. Everything seems backwards to me. Also, I had forgot that the new Nortons really makes it slow and also causes it to freak out very often. After a couple months of using Firefox all the time, I have become a total fan. Really it only took about 2 days to win me over. If it could block 3rd party cookies it would be perfect.
I am off to email blogger again.
