Something I didn't mention -- When we came back from Seattle all the electricity in what is my office/phone room/storage (it is a big long room) was totally off. Every winter I have some weird electric problem, but it is always in Dec, it was late this year. We have flipped the breaker several times, still no electricity and neither of us were motivated to care too much. I have been working on my MacBook in the living room, which is fine with me since I never hardly use my desktop PC.
Yesterday I thought I would clean the my office part of the room. In that part I have a small antique desk (actually I am pretty sure it is a reproduction), but it is lovely. It is a cherry wood writing desk with lots of little drawers atop the writing part and two larger drawers beneath. I don't use it for my computer, I just use the drawers and normally it ends up piled up with books and magazines I have been reading or using for various research. When we first brought it home I noticed it had two little hidden drawers because they kept sliding out as we were moving it. Yesterday when I was cleaning it I found two more that I never knew were there. As I pulled them out I hoped that the previous owner had stashed a bunch of cash in them, but sadly they were empty.
So yeah, I spent yesterday cleaning and finding two empty hidden drawers was the highlight of my day. :-)
Thanks to Regan I just found out that myspace now has super poke and super poke pets! I adopted a tiger kitty this time -- I have a Panda on Facebook. That was the other highlight of my day. Seriously, I love my super poke pets. I love buying them stuff and decorating their habitats. I guess I never really grew up. :-)
