Halloween Stuff and TV Stuff
As you can see in the sidebar, the Ancient Aliens (season 2) Giorgio hairdo has been revealed. Less pouffy than last season, but not Giorgio's off camera look -- somewhere in between. No longer does his hair deserve it's own show. Bummer!
Oh, and quite likely I will be taking either Saturday or Sunday off from updating this blog with news links. Not sure which night we will go out yet, but I think I deserve an entire day off for Halloween. I will be going as Christine O'Donnell (a witch). I am not sure how I should act since the place I am going is populated by a large percentage of lesbians. Obviously not somewhere O'Donnell would be caught dead at. :-)
Lastly, someone tell Jesse Ventura not to do anymore UFO related shows on Conspiracy Theory. As if it wasn't bad enough that he had Boylan on as an expert on Area 51, he also irritated me by taking seriously my pet peeve conspiracy (detailed more in next weeks Grey Matters) "Project Blue Beam." Like everyone that touts PBB, he did not bother to actually check with people that actually know about optics, lasers and holography to find out if it is the least bit feasible. Then again, if he had done that it would have removed that conspiracy from his show and they would have had to find something else to fill in that time.

A.D. After Disclosure
Hey all! That secret project I had been working on is posted. I felt very honored to be asked by Rich to review A.D. After Disclosure, but what I wrote is not really a review, more like my musings on the book -- if that makes any sense. Probably I should have added in there things about how the book is well written and entertaining to read, but most of you could guess that.

I am listening to Jacques Vallee on c2c right now. Rich and Bryce are coming up after the next break. I do love Vallee and that is not to say that I agree with everything he says, but I do agree with the gist of it.

Someone sent this to me a few days ago. I watched it and I can't see anything in the woman's hand. My guess is that she is doing what I often do - talking to herself. Besides, there are places now that you can't get cell service and back then there was none.

c2c and stuff
Just wanted to remind everyone that tonight on c2c the guests are Jacques Vallee for the first half of the show and then Richard Dolan and Bryce Zabel for the second half. George Knapp is hosting and it should be a great show!
My UFO group had a wonderful meeting yesterday with guest speaker Niara Terela Isley. I was actually there on time for once! Since Niara drove all the way down from Durango it seemed the least I could do was be there on time. Although, now I am exhausted and I almost totally lost my voice earlier from talking so much. :)

One more link
I somehow missed it when I was updating earlier, but Chris Knowles has a really great new post up -- Final Events: False Prophets and Real Profits. As you all know, I am not much of a believer in prophets and most especially not prophets of doom and gloom. As I read Chris' post it occurred to me that Hal Lindsey is probably the reason I am that way. I was pretty young, but I remember when "The Late Great Planet Earth" came out and all those people that were sure the end was so near. I forget how many different years Hal Lindsey floated out there for "the rapture," but he seems to have at least finally given up trying to predict the year. According to the bible, a prophet that is wrong about even one aspect is not a true prophet. Actually, I go by that standard myself, especially if the one thing is something big like a date or year. Something small like Jesus doesn't really wear white and instead is in tie-dye -- I could overlook that.
