I have been having internet problems tonight. My cable modem keeps going offline, though it does eventually come back. I assume it has something to do with the high winds we had yesterday, though they have calmed tonight.
Larry King is doing an alien show tonight "Are aliens a threat?" Not sure who the guests are yet, so you may have to tune in to find out. Although, if anyone emails me about being on or knowing who will be on, I will post that info later today.

Aliens and Coyotes
Judging by all the related posts it seems to be Stephen Hawking day here at TDF. That is what happens when MSM reports an alien related story, it is suddenly important because they reported on it. And it is important in a certain way because to people that aren't obsessed freaks like us (or like me anyhow) -- all they hear or know about aliens and ufos may come from the MSM.
Just as I was writing this a pack of coyotes were out behind the house howling at Pooka, who is out in the yard. I know they can't get in the yard and she can't get out and I have seen Pooka when she is loose chase a whole pack away, but I still turn on the big yard light to scare them away. When Pooka is in - I don't mind them howling. When she is out - I do. I feel like they are talking smack to her. :-) One of them was really weird sounding, not like the typical coyote. He seemed to be the leader and started howling first and then later the others joined in. Pooka barks at them, but I can tell by her bark that she isn't really concerned. She is way bigger and chased packs like that up into the mountains for years before we put up the fence. Of course, I worried each and every time, which is why we now have a fence, but she always came home without a scratch on her.

Tooth Stuff
I am less one wisdom tooth! The actual pulling wasn't too bad and it does still hurt, but far less than the pain before it was pulled that went all the way up into my head. Still since it was a hard day I did the quick blog update with no graphics. I am actually more tired than in pain, so I am off to sleep.

Aliens and Stuff
For some reason the news peeps are going crazy over that Stephen Hawking story. I guess it is because he said aliens probably do exist, but then made it sound that they would have no reason to explore and visit earth -- except to conquer it. Anyhow, I do have some other comments about that at UFO Mystic. After all, can't miss out on the big media alien story.
I did a bit of work on a new website today. It is all Regan's fault because she started a new typepad blog - Cafe Esoterica, for her podcast. That made me long for something webbie to do. I have already played with typepad, so I thought it was time to come up with a new website with a blog. I hate to admit it, but I am using click and build because I don't want to spend that much time on it, but I may get really into it and use real software. One of the reasons I am not is that I only have iWeb software on this computer, which I have played around some with and didn't really like. Anyhow, it is called Menagerie of Mystery. Still working on it and tossing around ideas about it, not yet ready for prime time yet.
I do finally have my dentist appointment today! Please send me your good vibes and hopefully it won't be too bad. Thanks!

Your Spring Sense is Touch |
![]() You're usually the first to notice when it changes over to spring. There's something about the air that just feels different. You are very perceptive and you tend to be in tune with all of your senses. At times, it feels like you have a "sixth sense." You like to lie back and experience spring to the fullest. Just feeling the newly warm sun on your skin makes you feel relaxed. There's nothing like that first warm day to lift your spirits. Spring is the most optimistic time of the year! |

Ha! I Knew It: Skeptics Infiltrate McMinnville UFO Fest
I love this! That they actually admit to "monitoring the festival." Obviously, skeptics care a lot more about those in Ufology and what we are doing than we do about them. I can't imagine going to a skeptics conference for any reason. To me, it would be one of the most boring events on earth. I would rather stay home and trim my toenails.

Stuff
Every once in a while I go through the links referring to this site to see if there are any new and interesting blogs linking, tonight I found Authentic UFO's. I didn't get to read through the entire blog, but it looked like there was some pretty interesting stuff there. I will be following it and adding any future cool posts to the news flow here.
Still suffering with the tooth and therefore not doing much of anything. I have never looked so forward to a dentist appointment as I am the one on Monday. I have a fever too, which I hope is related to the tooth and not some other ailment. According to my google search it is normal to have a fever with a gum infection - so maybe it isn't my tooth and is really my gum? Not sure if that would be better or worse. I have never had a gum infection before.
The one good thing about my tooth/gum problem is that it doesn't keep me from sleeping. Actually the opposite. For the first time in years I lay down and fall right to sleep and I sleep for like 10 hours! I have had some odd dreams too! A couple of nights ago I had a dream about two UFOs, one saucer and one shaped more like a barbell and they were doing some sort of weird mating ritual dance in the sky. Well, at least that is what it seemed to me, in the dream, that they were doing. Thinking about the dream later, I kinda of wondered why I came to that conclusion in the dream, except that it was kind of like that, but sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. :-)
OK, I will get some sleep now and see what sort of weird dreams pop up tonight.

You Are a Brain |

Tequila and Grey Matters
Damn tooth is still really bad. Not that there is any reason it should have magically healed since I couldn't get a dentist appointment until Monday. It seems to be my wisdom tooth. I guess that is why they tell you to pull them when they first come in because eventually they will have to be pulled anyhow, but I had no money for such things back when they came in and I still have all 4 of them. Joy! Two of them have never broke the surface, they are hiding there beneath the gum and just waiting for their chance to make my life really miserable because I suppose they would have to dig to get at those. Anyhow, just telling you all that to whine a bit and also in case I disappear for a few days -- you will know that it is simply that I feel too crappy or possibly am too drunk to update this blog. Right now I am experimenting with swishing tequila around back there, but it only helps for a few seconds so I will either have to drink a lot of tequila or take a bunch of Advil and try to sleep. Probably the latter.
Also, I have a new Grey Matters posted at Binnall of America about old (or vintage, if you prefer) UFO episodes from TV, mostly the I Dream of Jeannie one.
